The County of Cornwall (Road From Beacon Lane To Bearoak Hill, St Tudy, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage repairs and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd August 2026 to 7th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Beacon Lane To Bearoak Hill, St Tudy, Bodmin between grid references SX 07484 78469 and SX 07492 78406.

The County of Cornwall (Came Hill, Trelavour Road, Road Between Trelavour Square And Trelavour Road, St Dennis) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Dennis.

This prohibition is necessary for patching works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd August 2026 to 21st August 2026.

Roads subject to prohibition - Came Hill, Trelavour Road, Road Between Trelavour Square And Trelavour Road, St Dennis for their entire lengths.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in St Dennis.

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Carne Hill, Trelavour Road, Road Between Trelavour Square And Trelavour Road, St Dennis for their entire lengths. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Austell.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th August 2026 to 6th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lostwithiel.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin.

This prohibition is necessary for service connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1830, weekdays only.

Road affected - Wadebridge Road, Bodmin from near property known as The Lodge to near entrance to Jorys Meadow.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th August 2026 to 21st August 2026. Road subject to prohibition - Highfield Avenue, St Austell for its entire length. 

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.

This prohibition is necessary for ground investigation works around rail bridge and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2026 to 20th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) and Section 22(C) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Boardmasters, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that, on the recommendation of the Chief Officer of Police for Devon and Cornwall and on it appearing to Cornwall Council that it is necessary to mitigate danger to the public or damage to the highway (from incidents) that may arise from the hosting of an event taking place at Newquay, the various closures as listed in this order are to be introduced as specified.

Roads affected -Watergate Road, Newquay between the junction of the Sands Resort Hotel and the junction of Tregurrian Hill and Headland Road, Newquay between the junction of Beacon Road and the entrance to the Fistral Beach Car park.

The various measures imposed by this order will come into force at 0700 hours on Wednesday 5th August 2026 and will remain in force until 1500 hours on Monday 10th August 2026.
