Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in exercise of the powers conferred by section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter called ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with section 90C (1) of the Act and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter called ‘the Regulations’) and in accordance with section 90C (2) of the Act intends to construct road humps at the locations specified in the Schedule to this notice. (1) Flat top road humps referred to in the Schedule will extend across the whole width of the carriageway and will be 75mm in height and 17.9m in length subject to tolerances in the Regulations. Pedestrian Crossing at Felton Lane and High Street, Winford

Notice is hereby given that the District Council of North Somerset in exercise of powers conferred by section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and after consultation with the chief officer of police, intends to install the following crossings in the North Somerset: High Street, to the front of The Prince of Waterloo Public House (1 zebra crossing) and Felton Lane adjacent to Winford Primary School, Winford (1 zebra crossing). Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places (Consolidation) Order 2022 (Variation No.33) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of which will be to amend the North Somerset Council (Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2022 to include no loading, no waiting at any time, school keep clear markings and time restricted parking bays on roads within Winford. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this notice.

Prohibition and Restriction or Waiting, Stopping, Loading and Unloading - No loading, waiting at any time, school keep clears and time restricted parking bays.

Parsonage Lane: installation of school keep clear markings both side of the lane outside the school (Mon–Fri 8am to 4pm map 1), Barrow Lane: Installation of double yellow lines and no loading at any time kerb marks from the junction with Felton Lane along the eastern boundary of 9 Kingston Mead, from junction with Brookside to a point 33m in a southerly direction (map 1), Brookside: installation of double yellow lines and no loading at any time kerb marks southern side of the road at junction with Barrow Lane (map 1), High Street: installation of double yellow lines and no loading at any time kerb marks from the junction with The Old Coach Station in a north westerly direction for 10m and at the junctions with Parsonage Lane and Felton Lane, northern side of the road opposite 3 High Street and at both junctions from the entrance to the Prince of Waterloo Public House car park to junction, with Dundry Lane, installation of parking bays on the pavement to the front and on the road opposite the Prince of Waterloo Public House permitting two hours parking (Mon–Fri 8am to 4pm map 1b).

The general effect of the order shall be to amend the North Somerset Council (Speed Limit Restrictions, North Somerset Consolidation Order 2024 to extend existing 20mph speed limit to further roads within Winford and revoking current 30mph. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this Notice. Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Lower Queens Road, Clevedon, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 14 September 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway and footway resurfacing works and will become operative on 14 September 2026, anticipated to be of 20 days. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

The Triangle and Chapel Hill, Clevedon, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists Order 2026

Date coming into force: 3 August 2026

Ref: T26-65

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of infrastructure improvements and will become operative on 3 August 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works. It is anticipated the closure of this section of The Triangle will be for a period of approximately 14 weeks however the Closure of Chapel Hill is anticipated to begin in September for a period of approximately 7 weeks.

Schedule - Section of The Triangle on the southwestern side of the clock tower outside property numbers 11 and 13. Chapel Hill from its junction with The Triangle to a point 10 metres in a northwestern direction.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water for tree works. This order will become operative on the 14 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water Services to replace cover and frame. This order will become operative on the 22 October 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am and 2.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
