The Lewisham (Prescribed Routes) (School Streets) (No.*) Traffic Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lewisham Borough Council propose to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect is to introduce a pedestrian and cycle zone restricting vehicle access in the vicinity of Twin Oaks Primary School, comprising the roads or parts of roads listed in column (2) of the Schedule to this Notice, operating during the times specified in column (3).

3. The prohibition applies to all motor vehicles, except those vehicles being used by persons who hold a valid permit, as specified in columns (4) and (5) of the Schedule to this notice, and such other vehicles as are exempt under the provisions of the Order.

4. Copies of the draft Order, plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be obtained by emailing a request to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk  quoting reference ‘PTO 1054’ or can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the office of Lewisham Strategic Transport, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU.

5. Any objection or other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and must be emailed to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk  or posted to Strategic Transport, Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU, quoting reference “PTO-1054” to arrive not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
