ORDER 2026

On 13 July 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles facilitating Trash Screen and Headwall Replacement Works) on Glen Road, Dullatur from its junction with Dullatur Road up to and including Victoria Terrace by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes when signposted: Vehicles will be diverted via Dullatur

Road, Glen Road, Dullatur Road, A803 (Stirling Road, Kingston Road, Parkfoot Street), B802 (Airdrie Road, Townhead Street, Howe Road,

Auchinstarry Road), Smithstone Road, Eastfield Road, Dullatur Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure. The Order, will come into operation at 08:00 hours on Monday, 27 July 2026 each day until 16:30 hours on Sunday, 09 August 2026.
