SECTION 90A HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, HIGHWAYS (ROAD HUMPS) REGULATIONS 1999 PROPOSED SPEED CUSHIONS ON YEW TREE ROAD, FALLOWFIELD

NOTICE is hereby given that Manchester City Council proposes to introduce:

Twin Speed Cushions - 75mm high (+/- 3mm), 3500mm long, 1700mm wide, 1000-1200mm from the kerb line (with gradients no steeper than 1:10) on:

Yew Tree Road -
1.Two speed cushions with a midpoint 40.5m south of the southern kerbline of Liscard Avenue
2.Two speed cushions with a midpoint 39m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of Hart Road
3.Two speed cushions with a midpoint 33m southeast of the southeastern kerbline of Platt Lane Triple Speed Cushions - 75mm high (+/- 3mm), 3500mm long, 1700mm wide, 400-900mm from the kerb line (with gradients no steeper than 1:10) on:

Yew Tree Road -
1.Triple speed cushions with a midpoint 51.5m south of the southern kerbline of Mallowdale Avenue
2.Triple speed cushions with a midpoint 28.5m north of the northern kerbline of Mallowdale Avenue
3.Triple speed cushions with a midpoint 21m north of the northern kerbline of Liscard Avenue
4.Triple speed cushions with a midpoint 127.5m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of Hart Road
5.Triple speed cushions with a midpoint 41m northeast of the northern kerbline of Whitmore Road
6.Triple speed cushions with a midpoint 17.5m northwest of the northern kerbline of Werneth Avenue

A plan showing the location of the Speed Cushions may be inspected in person at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) 9am-4.30pm Monday-Friday or requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk. Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester. gov.uk or the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 14th August 2026.
