Barking - Proposed Waiting & Parking Restrictions - Resident Parking Permit Changes

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM

Road Traffic Acts - (Waiting And Parking Restrictions) (Ventnor Gardens, Barking) Amendment No. * Order 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called "the Act") and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:

1. Introduce ‘No waiting at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:
a. Upney Lane, west side, from a point 1 metres south of the extended common boundary line of Nos. 24 and 26 Upney Lane to a point in line with northern building line of No. 60 Upney Lane, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

b. Levett Road, north-west side, from its junction with Upney Lane for 38.5 metres in a south-westerly direction, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

c. Levett Road, south-east side, from its junction with Upney Lane for 22 metres in a south-westerly direction, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

d. Levett Road, south-east side, from it’s a point 34.5 metres south-west of its junction with Upney Lane for 9 metres in a south-westerly direction.

e. Ventnor Gardens, north-east side, from a point 12.3 metres north-west of its junction with Levett Road to a point 17.5 metres south-east of its junction with Longbridge Road, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm, Disabled Blue Badge Holders Only, and Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

f. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, outside Nos. 16–18 Ventnor Gardens, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

2. Introduce ‘Resident Permit Holders Only Zone E Mon–Fri 8:30pm – 5:30pm’ bays at the following locations:
a. Levett Road, north-west side, from a point 38.5 metres south-west of its junction with Upney Lane for 23.5 metres in a south-westerly direction, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm, No waiting at any time, and Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

b. Levett Road, south-east side, from a point 22 metres south-west of its junction with Upney Lane for 12.5 metres in a south-westerly direction, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

c. Levett Road, south-east side, from a point 43.5 metres south-west of its junction with Upney Lane for 36.5 metres in a south-westerly direction, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

d. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, outside Nos. 36–44 Ventnor Gardens, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

e. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, outside No. 32 Ventnor Gardens, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

f. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, from a point in line with the extended common boundary of Nos. 26 and 28 Ventnor Gardens for 12.4 metres in a south-easterly direction, replacing No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm and Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

g. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, outside Nos. 18–24 Ventnor Gardens, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

h. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, outside Nos. 2–16 Ventnor Gardens, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm and No waiting Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

i. Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, adjacent to No. 210 Longbridge Road, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.

3. Introduce a ‘Disabled Blue Badge Holders Only’ bay on Ventnor Gardens, south-west side, outside No. 26 Ventnor Gardens, replacing Resident Permit Holders Only Zone UP Mon–Fri 1:30pm – 2:30pm restrictions.
