NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Station Road B660 & Long Drove B660, Holme

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 26-20685

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road B660 & Long Drove B660, Holme as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via B660; B1043; A15; A1260; A1139; A605; B1095; B1040; B660 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 9/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 8/2/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out overnight between 23:00hrs 9/8 & 06:00hrs 10/8/26.

Station Lane, Offord Cluny

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20687

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Lane, Offord Cluny as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1043; Priory Hill Rd, St Neots; Hawksden Rd; Station Rd; B1428; Cromwell Rd; B1046; B1043; A428; A1; High St, Buckden; Church St; Mill Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 23:00hrs 16/8 & 06:00hrs 17/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20692

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Ackerman Street, Eaton Socon as lies between Simpkin Close & Ackerman Gardens. The alternative route for vehicles is via Ackerman St; School Ln; B1428 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 13/8/26.

Old Court Hall, Godmanchester

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20704

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Old Court Hall, Godmanchester as lies between Pipers Lane & Corpus Christi Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via London St; London Rd; A1198; B1044; The Causeway & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 13/8/26.

Bythorn Road, Covington

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20707

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bythorn Road, Covington as lies between Cherry Hill Farm to approximately 100m in a southerly direction. The alternative route for vehicles is via Covington Rd, Keyston; Mickle Hill; Covington Rd; B663; B645; Covington Rd, Covington; Keyston Rd; Bythorn Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate valve, chamber repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 31/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 31/8 & 2/9/26.

St Neots Road B1046, Abbotsley

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20708

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along St Neots Road B1046, Abbotsley as lies between No.26 & Hails Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1046; B1043; A428; B1040; B1046 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 6/8/26.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Alconbury Road, Hamerton as lies between Rookery Farm & Hamerton & Steeple Gidding Footpath 2. The alternative route for vehicles is via Main St; Leighton Rd; Buckden Rd; Hamerton Rd C106, Buckworth Rd; Coppingford Rd; Barham Rd, Upton, Hamerton Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 5/8 & 7/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Tilbrook as lies between No.42A & Rook Farm. The alternative route for vehicles is via Station Road; B660; B645 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 3/8 & 5/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Sawtry Footpath 3, Sawtry

Temporary Prohibition of Use – Order 2026-20720

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Sawtry Footpath 3, Sawtry as lies between Green End Road & Footpath Between 47 & 54 Aversley Road. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 17/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 17/8 & 18/8/26.

Meeting Lane, Needingworth

Temporary Prohibition of Use – Order 2026-20738

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Meeting Lane, Needingworth as lies between No. 2 & High Street. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 10/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/8 & 12/8/26.

Oakley Drive, Sawtry

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20746

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Oakley Drive, Sawtry as lies between No. 5 & Westfield Road. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 17/8 & 26/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Green Leys, St Ives

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Green Leys, St Ives as lies between No.114 & High Leys. The alternative route for vehicles is via High Leys; A1123; Green Leys & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate install new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 5/8 & 7/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 10/8 & 11/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road & Long Drove, Holme as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via B660; B1043; A15; B1091; London Rd; A1260; A1139; A605; B1095; B1040; B660 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate level crossing inspection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 02:35hrs & 05:40hrs on 9/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Fen Road, Conington

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20817

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fen Road, Conington as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate railway crossing inspection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 02:35hrs & 05:40hrs on 16/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate faulty loop repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 24/8 & 25/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate culvert reconstruction & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 1/8 & 4/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Brampton Road A1307, Huntingdon as lies between Burrows Drive & B1044 & Brampton Road B1514, Huntingdon as lies between B1044 & George Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1044; B1514 or A1307, Pathfinder Link Rd; B1514 alternatively B1514; B1044. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate S278 & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 17/8 & 31/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

St Ives Road, Papworth Everard; St Ives Road & Rogues Lane, Hilton

Temporary 40mph & 30mph Speed Limit – Order 2026-20971

Is to impose a 40mph & 30mph speed limit along St Ives Road, Papworth Everard; St Ives Road & Rogues Lane, Hilton as lies between New Farm & A1198; Rogues Cottages & St Ives Road respectively. The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the speed limit along the whole or any part of the above mentioned length of road whilst works are in progress or temporarily suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water mains laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 3/8 & 13/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works. Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
