THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL AND NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (ZOUCH ROAD, HATHERN AND MAIN STREET, ZOUCH, PARISHES OF HATHERN AND SUTTON BONINGTON, BOROUGHS OF CHARNWOOD & RUSHCLIFFE) (REVOCATION OF 18 TONNES WEIGHT LIMIT ON ZOUCH BRIDGE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 20 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in compliance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be:-
To revoke the existing 18 tonnes weight restriction on parts of Zouch Road, Hathern and Main Street, Zouch
The Order will come into force on the twenty-seventh day of July 2026
A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
