NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Streetly End C243, West Wickham Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20435

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Streetly End C243, West Wickham as lies between Nos.33 & 39. The alternative route for vehicles is via Horseheath Rd; High St Southern Spur; Balsham Rd; West Wickham Rd, Balsham; B1052; Wheatsheaf Way, Linton; Horseheath Rd; A1307; Linton Rd, Horseheath; West Wickham Rd & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 12/8 & 14/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Perne Road A1134, Cambridge Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20688

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on Perne Road A1134, Cambridge as lies between Nos. 25 & 63. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993, schedule 23 Cycle lane, Part 2 – Mandatory with-flow cycle lane, Perne Road – on both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Brookfields to its junction with Cherry Hinton Road is hereby suspended. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 10/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/2/28 whichever is the earlier. 

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Perne Road A1134, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/8 & 12/8/26.

St Johns Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20691
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along St Johns Road, Cambridge as lies between No.13 & Park Parade. The alternative route for vehicles is via St Johns Rd; New Park St; Portugal St; Park Pde & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas disconnection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 17/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 16/2/28 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 17/8 & 21/8/26.

Rawlyn Close, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20718
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Rawlyn Close, Cambridge as lies between Rawlyn Court & No 20. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 24/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 24/2/28 whichever is the earlier. 
It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 24/8 & 28/8/26.

Stretten Avenue, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20722

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Stretten Avenue, Cambridge as lies between Gilbert Road & No 99. The alternative route for vehicles is via Gilbert Rd, Cambridge; B1049; A1134; Harvey Goodwin Ave; Stretten Ave & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate foul & storm water connections & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 10/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/2/28 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/8 & 21/8/26.

Lovell Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20726

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Lovell Road, Cambridge as lies between Milton Road & Garden Lodge. The alternative route for vehicles is via Lovell Rd, Cambridge; Kings Hedges Rd; A1309 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunication blockages & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 25/2/28 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 26/8 & 28/8/26.

High Street, Great Eversden Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20740

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Great Eversden as lies between No 42 & Great & Little Eversden Footpath 3. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via Kingston Rd, Great Eversden; Tinkers Ln, Kingston; The Green; Church Ln; B1046; A603; Harlton Rd, Little Eversden; Church St, Great Eversden & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telegraph pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 25/8 & 26/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Wimpole Road, Great Eversden Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20742

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wimpole Road, Great Eversden as lies between High St & No 8. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telegraph pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 24/8 & 25/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telegraph pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 20/8 & 21/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Harlton as lies between Coach Drive & No 43. The alternative route for vehicles is via Eversden Rd, Harlton; A603; Fishers Ln, Orwell; High St; Barrington Rd; Orwell Rd, Barrington; West Green; High St; Haslingfield Rd; Chapel Hill; Chapel Hill, Haslingfield; Church St; Harlton Rd; Haslingfield Rd, Harlton & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telegraph pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 18 August & 19 August 2026, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

High Street, Hildersham Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20750

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Hildersham as lies between Woodside & Hildersham Footpath 9. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St, Hildersham; Little Abington Rd; Hildersham Rd, Little Abington; A1307 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telegraph pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 18/8 & 19/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Moorfield Road, Duxford Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20760

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Moorfield Rd, Duxford as lies between The Firs & SMT Volvo. The alternative route for vehicles is via A505; Hunts Rd, Duxford; St Peters St c284; Chapel St c284 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telegraph pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 26/8 & 27/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along St Johns Street, Duxford as lies between No 38 & St John’s Church.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road C186, Swavesey as lies between number 6 & Taylors Lane. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via Station Rd, Over; Church End; High St; Willingham Rd; Mill Rd; King St; Longstanton Rd; Gravel Bridge Rd; Over Road, Longstanton; Ramper Rd; B1050; A1307; Boxworth End, Swavesey; Middle Watch; High Street & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 17/8 & 21/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Histon Road B1049, Cambridge – Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane Roseford Road, Cambridge – Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026-20792

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No.309 & Brownlow Road & the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Roseford Road, Cambridge as lies between No.1 & B1049. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993. 

Schedule 23 – Cycle lane Part 2 – Mandatory with flow cycle lane Histon Road – On both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Gilbert Road to its junction with Cambridge Road, Impington is hereby suspended. The alternative route for vehicles is via Roseford Rd; Perse Wy; Carlton Wy; Gilbert Rd; B1049 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 10/8 & 11/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Histon Road B1049, Cambridge Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20793

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No.332 & Hazelwood Close. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sluice valve repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 3/8 & 4/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Histon Road B1049, Cambridge are in progress. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Paget Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20794

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Paget Road, Cambridge as lies between Nos. 59 & 61. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate utility repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 5/8 & 7/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Lees Way, Girton as lies between No. 5 & Church Lane. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate laying ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 17/8 & 18/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation.

Six Mile Bottom Road, Weston Colville & Lark Hall Road, Little Wilbraham Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20799
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Six Mile Bottom Road, Weston Colville & Lark Hall Road, Little Wilbraham as lies between Lark Hall & Old London Road. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via A1304; Brinkley Rd, Little Wilbraham; Brinkley Rd, Six Mile Bottom; Six Mile Bottom Rd, Brinkley; High St; B1052; Six Mile Bottom Rd, West Wratting & vice versa. The 

proposed Order is necessary to facilitate pole testing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs on 28/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Mount Pleasant, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20810

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mount Pleasant, Cambridge as lies between St Edmunds House & Mount Pleasant Walk. Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bateman Street, Cambridge as lies between Sancton Wood School & Panton Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1134; A603; A1307 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical installation & ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 3/8 & 11/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation.

Histon Road B1049, Cottenham Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20839

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Histon Road B1049, Cottenham as lies between Rampton Road & Cottenham Road B1049, Histon. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via B1049; A14; A10; A1123; B1049 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. 

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 15/8 & 17/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.
