NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Streetly End C243, West Wickham Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20435
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Streetly End C243, West Wickham as lies between Nos.33 & 39. The alternative route for vehicles is via Horseheath Rd; High St Southern Spur; Balsham Rd; West Wickham Rd, Balsham; B1052; Wheatsheaf Way, Linton; Horseheath Rd; A1307; Linton Rd, Horseheath; West Wickham Rd & vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 12/8 & 14/8/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation.
The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.
Perne Road A1134, Cambridge Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20688
Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on Perne Road A1134, Cambridge as lies between Nos. 25 & 63. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993, schedule 23 Cycle lane, Part 2 – Mandatory with-flow cycle lane, Perne Road – on both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Brookfields to its junction with Cherry Hinton Road is hereby suspended.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 10/8/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/2/28 whichever is the earlier.
This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Perne Road A1134, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/8 & 12/8/26.
St Johns Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20691
