Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (ACACIAS COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING DURING TERM TIME EXCEPT CYCLES AND ACCESS) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce:
PROHIBITION OF DRIVING DURING TERM TIME MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8.15AM-9AM AND 3PM-3.45PM (EXCEPT CYCLES AND ACCESS): Alexandra Drive, for its entire length. Roseleigh Avenue, for its entire length.
The Order was made on 21st July 2026 and will come into effect on 22nd July 2026. A copy of the Order and the plan can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or inspected at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 21st July 2026 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
