THE HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM (CYCLE LANES) (NO. 5) ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham made the abovementioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 6, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Hammersmith and Fulham (Bus Lane) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 9) Order 2026, which will come into operation on 29th July 2026, will be to amend the Hammersmith and Fulham (Bus Lane) (Consolidation) Amendment Order No. 2 so as to extend the bus lane on Uxbridge Road outside Nos. 272 to 288 in an easterly direction to a point 10.00 metres west of the western kerb line of Tunis Road
3. The general effect of The Hammersmith and Fulham (Cycle Lanes) (No.5) Order 2026, which will come into operation on 29th July 2026, will be to remove the cycle lane on the north side of Uxbridge Road where the bus lane, as described in the paragraph above is proposed to be extended.
4. A copy of the Orders, the Councils statement of reasons for making the Orders and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected, by requesting copies in writing until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders. 5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
