THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(LEGGE STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Legge Street from
the side of property 2 to outside property 8.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 3 August 2026 until 5 August 2026.
The vehicular diversion route is: Legge Street, Myatt Close,
Myatt Avenue, Parkfield Road, Parkfield Crescent and vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new service connection
by Severn Trent Water.
