(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
BACK LANE, BARMBY MOOR
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding on foot/
whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along
Back Lane, Barmby Moor. The reason for the closure
is to enable the proposed Back Lane, Barmby Moor
works, to be carried out and completed in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed
within one day. The alternative route for traffic affected
by the order is via Main Street, Beckside and York
Road, Allerthorpe CP, Barmby Moor CP, Pocklington
Provincial Ward, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but will
remain open for vehicular access to properties directly
affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The order will commence 30 July 2026 and continue
in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months
or until the works which is it proposed to carry out
have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Further
