SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C676 CLARE ROAD, STANSFIELD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C676 Clare Road, Stansfield from 815 metres north of Shadowbush Farm for 30 metres northbound to facilitate remedial water repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1063, the A143 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/07/2026 - 24/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U5243 SCUFFINS LANE, COTTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5243 Scuffins Lane, Cotton to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mill Hill, Cock Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/07/2026 - 24/07/2026 from 8am - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C565 ROAD FROM THE JUNCTION WITH U5229 TO BOUNDARY FARM, MENDLESHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C565 Road from the junction with the U5229 to Boundary Farm, Mendlesham to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Cotton Road, Mendlesham Road, Church Road, Cock Road, Parkers Road, the B1113, Wickham Road, Finningham Road, The Street, Wickham Road Thornham Magna, Workhouse Road, the A140, Wickham Road Thwaite and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/07/2026 - 24/07/2026 from 8am - 5.30pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C431 RECREATION ROAD, STOWMARKET

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C431 Recreation Road, Stowmarket from the junction with the B1115 to number 9 to facilitate water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be B1115, the A1308, Violet Hill Road, Recreation Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/07/2026 - 24/07/2026. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1062 LONDON ROAD, WESTON AND BECCLES

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• B1062 London Road, Weston from Beccles Southern Relief Road to London Road, Beccles

• B1062 London Road, Beccles from London Road, Weston to Butterfly Drive.

This is to facilitate surface dressing and road markings. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be B1062, the A146, the A145 and vice versa.

It is intended that these closures will operate from:

• for surface dressing - 31/07/2026 - 03/08/2026 from 4am - 9am

• for road markings 19/08/2026 - 22/08/2026 from 7pm - 5am.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U1628 HILL ROAD, WANGFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1628 Hill Road, Wangford to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, the B1126 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 31/07/2026 - 03/08/2026 from 8am - 5pm.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C627 THE GREEN, RISBY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C627 The Green, Risby from 150 metres west of the junction with Flempton Road for 30 metres north westbound to facilitate stoptap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the C629 Flempton Road Risby, the C629 Risby Road Flempton, the A1101 Bury Road Flempton, the A1101 Bury Road Lackford, the C626 Icknield Way Cavenham and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/07/2026 - 24/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1117 UBBESTON GREEN, LAXFIELD ROAD AND CHURCH ROAD, UBBESTON AND HEVENINGHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:

• B1117 Ubbeston Green, Ubbeston from Clay Hill to Laxfield Road

• B1117 Laxfield Road, Ubbeston from Ubbeston Green to Laxfield Road, Heveningham, and

• B1117 Church Road, Heveningham from Laxfield Road, Heveningham to Low Road.

This is to facilitate patching, surface dressing and road marking works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1117, the A144, the A12, the A1120, the B1116, the B1117 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from:

• 22/07/2026 - 23/07/2026 from 8am - 5pm

• 26/07/2026 - 27/07/2026 from 10am - 2pm

• 27/08/2026 - 02/09/2026 from 7.30pm - 5am

With a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C310 Dallinghoo Docks, Dallinghoo from the junction with Whitehouse Farm Road for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate an air valve renewal. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be California, Dallinghoo Road, Broad Road, the B1078, School Road, Potash Farm Road, Pound Hill, Hall Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 31/07/2026. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
