What is happening?

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 90(A)
Leicester City Council proposes to construct road humps under
Section 90(a) of the Highways Act 1980 at the locations shown below:-

Park Hill Drive Road Hump At its southern junction
with Aylestone Road
Park Hill Drive Road Hump Approximately 5m south
west of its junction with
Grace Road
Grace Road Road Hump At its junction with
Aylestone Road


The length of the road humps will vary between 4m and 12 metres for each location and the width will be the full width of the carriageway. 

The maximum height of the features will be 90mm.

OBJECTIONS to the proposals should be sent to major-transport-projects@leicester.gov.uk or by post to Transport Strategy, Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ and marked for the attention of Pabinder Kaur. 

Any objections should state the grounds on which they are made and must be received by Wednesday 12th August 2026.
