Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Pool. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd August 2026 to 21st August 2026.
Roads subject to prohibition - Moorfield Road, Pool and Balkin Way, lllogan for their entire lengths.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Pool.
Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of30 MPH over an area of highway being Morla ix Avenue, Truro in both directions between grid references SW82239 43895 and SW82788 44494 for approximately 1062 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out construction works.
The Order will come into operation on 4th August 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 15th September 2026. The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
