Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order 2022/853 - Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FORDLEY ROAD, MIDDLETON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing Fordley Road from its junction with the B1122 for approximately 350m to facilitate works associated with the delivery of Sizewell Link Road.
Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be B1122, A12, B1121, Tiggins Lane, Fordley Road and vice versa unless otherwise communicated.
It is intended that the closure will operate 24 hours each day from Monday 10th August 2026 to Sunday 17th September 2027, but the closure will remain in place until associated works are completed. Enquiries should be made to Sizewell C Information Office at 48-50 High Street, Leiston, IP16 4EW between 9.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
