Manchester City Council proposes to make the CITY OF MANCHESTER (WERNETH AVENUE AND YEW TREE ROAD, FALLOWFIELD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:
NO WAITING AND NO LOADING AT ANY TIME: Werneth Avenue, both sides from Yew Tree Road westerly for 12m. Yew Tree Road, west side from 10m south of Werneth Avenue northerly to 10m north of Werneth Avenue.
A copy of the proposed Order, a Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person by appointment at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@ manchester.gov.uk or to the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 14th August 2026.
