TURLIN ROAD, KEYSWORTH ROAD, MARYLAND ROAD & FITZWORTH AVENUE, POOLE – ROAD CLOSURE
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
- Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
- Closures will be implemented in succession due to clashing diversion routes
WHERE:
- Keysworth Road from its junction with Turlin Road to the property boundary of Nos. 49/51
- Maryland Road from its junction with Turlin Road to its junction with Middlebere Crescent
- Keysworth Road from its junction with Turlin Road to the northern property boundary of No. 11
- Fitzworth Avenue from its junction with Turlin Road to the property boundary of Nos. 9/11
- Turlin Road from its junction with Shipstal Close to the property boundary of Nos. 163/165
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 17th August 2026 until 28th August 2026
WHY: This is to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety
DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
