What is happening?
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 90(A)
Leicester City Council proposes to construct Road Humps under Section 90(a) of the Highways Act 1980 at the locations shown below:-

The length of the road humps will vary between 5.5m and 21m and the width will be the full width of the carriageway. The maximum height of the features will be 75mm. The speed cushions will be 1.8m and 2.0m wide and will be relocated away from the two new road tables at the junctions of Mangold Road and Deacon Road.
OBJECTIONS to the proposals should be sent to major-transport-projects@leicester.gov.uk or by post to Transport Strategy, Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ and marked for the attention of Pabinder Kaur. Any objections should state the grounds on which they are made and must be received by Wednesday 12th August 2026.
