RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd o’r gyffordd ger Mathan Uchaf heibio Forest Lodge i’r A497, Boduan yn ei gyfanrwydd.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar gyfer gwaith ailwynebu.
Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol ar yr A497 yna troi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd ger Bodfel Bach. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol.
Yn y gyffordd gyda’r Ffordd o Gefn Mine i’r gyffordd ger Mathan Uchaf, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 4ydd o Awst 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 5 diwrnod.

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(ROAD FROM THE JUNCTION BY MATHAN UCHAF PASSING FOREST LODGE TO THE A497, BODUAN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Road from the junction by Mathan Uchaf passing Forest Lodge to the A497, Boduan in its entirety.
The Order is necessary for resurfacing works.
The alternative route is to travel south easterly on the A497 then turn left at the junction by Bodfel Bach. Travel on this road in a south westerly direction. At the junction with the Road from Cefn Mine to the junction by Mathan Uchaf, turn left to travel north westerly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 4th of August, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 4 days.
