FORDHAM AND RYSTON – C33 Hilgay Road from 580m east of its junction with A10 Fordham Bypass for 40m eastwards to facilitate fencing repair works from 20th to 22nd July 2026 (may continue until 2nd September 2026). GREAT MASSINGHAMA) C66 Station Road from 30m south of its junction with C72 Lynn Lane for 60m northwards; B) C72 Lynn Lane from its junction with C66 Station Road for 10m westwards; C) C72 Weasenham Road from its junction with C66 Station Road for 30m eastwards and D) C72 Lynn Lane from its junction with C66 Station Road for 200m westwards to facilitate drainage works. Roads A, B and C are anticipated to be temporarily closed between 20th and 29th July 2026 and Road D between 1st August and 16th October 2026 (may continue until 16th April 2027). Alternative route is via: Station Road, Nethergate Street, Fakenham Road, Lynn Road, Hillington Road, Queen Elizabeth Way, Gayton Road, Litcham Road, Castle Acre Road (Hillington, Roydon, Great Massingham, Congham, Castle Rising, Gayton, Little Massingham, Flitcham with Appleton, South Wootton, Leziate, Bawsey, Grimston, Harpley). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB: Owing to works affecting the Alternative Route, a second diversion will be available for Road A as signed on site between 27th and 29th July 2026.

KING'S LYNN – U20523 Tower Place from 60m south of its junction with U20515 St James Street for 30m southwards to facilitate water connection works between 19:00 and 05:00 from 21st to 23rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Millfleet, London Road, St James Road, Railway Road, John Kennedy Road, North Street, St Ann's Street, St Nicholas Street, Tuesday Market Place, King Street, Queen Street, Saturday Market Place, St James Street, Tower Place. MARHAM – C47 Shouldham Road from 300m southwest of its junction with U21333 Spring Lane for 30m south-westwards to facilitate water connection works from 20th to 22nd July 2026 (may continue until 2nd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Shouldham Road, Norwich Road, Marham Road, Main Road, Swaffham Road, Chalk Lane, Narborough Road, The Street (Shouldham, Barton Bendish, Beachamwell, Fincham, Marham). NORTHWOLD AND WHITTINGTON – B1112 Methwold Road from 420m southeast of its junction with A134 Whittington Hill Roundabout for 75m south-eastwards to facilitate HRA patching works on 21st July 2026 (may continue until 1st September 2026). Alternative route is via: Methwold Road, Main Road, Stoke Road, Brandon Road, Lynn Road, Mundford Road, Cranwich Road, Thetford Road, Whittington Hill (Methwold, Northwold, Feltwell, Mundford, Brandon, Weeting-with-Broomhill, Cranwich, Hockwold-cum-Wilton). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

RUNCTON HOLME – C789 School Road from its junction with A10 Lynn Road to its junction with C51 Downham Road to facilitate mains renewal scheme works from 20th July to 27th September 2026 (may continue until 27th March 2027). Alternative route is via: A10 Stoke Road Bypass, Thieves Bridge Road, Downham Road, Watlington Road (Runcton Holme, Watlington). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

SNETTISHAM – U22215 Fring Road from 1650m west of its junction with C88 Sherborne Road for 50m westwards to facilitate works to create a new solar farm entrance from 24th July to 14th August 2026 (may continue until 14th February 2027). Alternative route is via: Fring Road, Sherborne Road, Bircham Road, St Thomas Lane, Sedgeford Road (Snettisham, Fring, Sedgeford). The works promoter is Allroads Asphalt Solutions Ltd.

SOUTH CREAKE – B1355 The Common from its junction with U22289 Roman Road for 35m south-eastwards to facilitate HRA patching works from 20th to 22nd July 2026 (may continue until 2nd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Creake Road, Burnham Market Road, Lynn Road, Tattersett Road, Gydes Road, Docking Road, Fakenham Road, Bircham Road, Burnham Road, Stanhoe Road, Ringstead Road, Church Street, The Common (South Creake, Docking, Syderstone, Barwick, Burnham Market, Stanhoe, East Rudham, Tattersett, Barsham, North Creake, Sculthorpe, Bagthorpe with Barmer, Burnham Thorpe). WALPOLE CROSS KEYS, WALPOLE, TERRINGTON ST. CLEMENT, TILNEY ALL SAINTS, CLENCHWARTON AND KING'S LYNN – A17 Walpole Cross Keys Bypass from its junction with C80 Sutton Road to its junction with A17/A47 Pullover Roundabout to facilitate surface dressing works from 17th to 27th July 2026 (may continue until 7th September 2026). The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 12th July 2026 that the Road will be temporarily subject to a 20mph speed restriction. Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

WEST WALTON – U21027 Salts Road from 300m west of its junction with U21179 Lowland Road for 150m westwards to facilitate duct laying works between 09:30 and 15:30 from 20th to 23rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Salts Road, Lynn Road, School Road. The works promoter is BT.

WEST WALTON – C1 Mill Road from 25m west of its junction with C2 School Road for 82m westwards to facilitate HRA patching works from 21st to 23rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, Walpole Bank, Wisbech Road, Police Road, Walnut Road, Lynn Road, School Road (Walpole Highway, West Walton, Walpole). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

WIGGENHALL ST. GERMANSA) C8 High Road from 150m west of its junction with U21380 Low Road for 1400m north-eastwards and B) U21380 Low Road from its junction with C8 High Road for 30m eastwards to facilitate mains renewal works from 20th July to 1st September 2026 (may continue until 1st March 2027). Alternative route is via: High Road, Saddlebow Road, A47 Trunk Road From The Pullover Roundabout To The Hardwick Roundabout, A47 From J A148 To J A17 E, Pullover Road, A47 From J A17 To Roundabout At Tilney All Saints, Lynn Road, Islington Road, The Avenue, Sluice Road, School Road (Tilney All Saints, Wiggenhall St. Germans, Tilney St. Lawrence). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by traffic of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle tracks, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT), but may also be extended further by the Secretary of State.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
