TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER –
RUDYARD ROAD, BRIGHTON
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
a) The temporary closure of Rudyard Road, Brighton from its junction with The Ridgway to its junction with Rudyard Close.
- The Order is necessary to allow contractors on behalf of UKPN to carry out Sub Station upgrade works.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
- This Order comes into force on 10 August 2026 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 4 September 2026.
