ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PLOUGH HILL ROAD, HARTSHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Repair/replacement of manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 26 July 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 July 2026.
Access & Diversion: Plough Hill Road, Hickman Road, Tunnel Road, Ansley Road, Birmingham Road, Coleshill Road, Ansley Common and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A47 OLD HINCKLEY ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties numbered 13 and 19. In addition, vehicular traffic will be prohibited from turning from A444 Weddington Road into A47 Old Hinkley Road.
Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of defective manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 9 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Weddington Road, Old Hinkley Road and vice versa.

QUEEN ELIZABETH ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to repair/replace defective manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 9 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Queen Elizabeth Road, Tuttle Hill, Camp Hill Road, Bucks Hill and vice versa.

THE BRIDLEWAY, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Repair/replacement of defective manhole frame and covers, overnight 19.00hrs–06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 28 July 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 July 2026.
Access & Diversion: Bermuda Bridge, St Georges Way, Coventry Road, St Davids Way, Griff Way, Eliot Way, College Street, Bull Ring, Heath End Road, Bermuda Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF NUNEATON & BEDWORTH) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 6) ORDER 2026
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (Borough Of Nuneaton and Bedworth) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On-Street Parking Places And Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017 (as varied), by:
– introducing parking places for disabled badge holders only, as described at the locations in Schedule 1 below; and
– changing the use of parking places from disabled badge holders only to limited waiting/permit holders, as described at the locations in Schedule 2 below.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20207/nuneaton-bedworth-borough

– South-east side of Anker Street, from a point 75 metres north-east of its junction with Attleborough Road (B4114), north-eastwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.
2. 31 Anker Street, Nuneaton:
– South-east side of Anker Street, from a point 30 metres north-east of its junction with Attleborough Road (B4114), north-eastwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.
3. 104 Heath End Road, Nuneaton:
– South side of Heath End Road (B4112), from a point approximately 80 metres east of its junction with Orkney Close, eastwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.
4. 146 Heath End Road, Nuneaton:
– South side of Heath End Road (B4112), from a point approximately 175 metres east of its junction with Orkney Close, eastwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.
5. 124 Norman Avenue:
– East Side of Norman Avenue from a point approximately 32 metres south of its junction with Prince’s Avenue, southwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF NUNEATON AND BEDWORTH) (SPEED LIMIT) (VARIATION NO. 1) ORDER 2026
Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to reduce the length of the existing 50mph speed limit on the length of road mentioned in the Schedule below. A 30mph speed limit, by virtue of street lighting, will replace the area of revoked 50mph.
