(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
On 21 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order for public safety at Kay Park Play Day.
Road Closure – Kay Park Crescent, Kay Park Service Road
Kay Park Crescent - From Junction of Grassyards Road to Junction Of Strawberrybank Road - (Resident Access only).
Kay Park Service Road - From Strawberrybank Road Southwards for towards Burns Monument Centre - (Resident Access only).
No Waiting At Any Time – Grassyards Road, Kay Park Crescent, Kay Park Service Road, South Dean, Road, Strawberrybank Road
Strawberrybank Road - From Junction of Townholm to the Junction Of Grassyards Road - No Waiting Both Sides (Except for Resident Permits).
South Dean Road - From Junction of Strawberrybank Road Northwards for 150mtrs - No Waiting Both Sides.
Kay Park Service Road - From Strawberrybank Road Southwards for 150mtrs towards Burns Monument Centre. - No Waiting Both Sides.
Kay Park Crescent From Junction of Grassyards Road to Junction Of Strawberrybank Road - No Waiting Both Sides.
Grassyards Road - From Junction of McKenzie Drive Towards the Entrance of St Joseph`s School - No Waiting Both Sides.
The Order commences on 05 August 2026. The event restrictions are expected to commence from 05 August 2026 at 00:01 until 05 August 2026 at 23:59.
The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
On 21 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – Haining Avenue, Kilmarnock Full length.
No Waiting At Any Time - Haining Avenue, Kilmarnock Full length both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 10 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 10 August 2026 at 07:00 until 21 August 2026 at 18:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 07:00 and 18:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via Whatriggs Road, New Street and Hurlford Road and vice versa.

On 16 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – B7024, Culroy
B7024 - For 700m from 20m South of junction to Knockdon C122 Garryholm to 100m North of Culroy House.
The Order commences on 03 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 03 August 2026 at 08:00 until 17 August 2026 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times. The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible and safe to so.
An alternative route will be signed via B7024, High Maybole Road, Alloway, Murdoch’s Lone, Doonholm Road, A77,A77 Maybole Bypass, Culzean Road, Barns Terrace, Alloway Road, B7024 and vice versa.

On 16 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to maintain safety for the the public attending Bowling Event.

Residents of the above roads will be issued with a temporary residents parking permit.
The Order commences on 08 August 2026.The bowling event is expected to commence from 08 August 2026 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 15 August 2026 at 17:30.
Pedestrian access will not be affeted ,and access for emergency services will be maintained The Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

On 16 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Power Works.
From junction with B730 for 50m
The Order commences on 12 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 12 August 2026 at 08:00 until 13 October 2026 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via U72, U99, Old Loans Road, B730 Tarbolton Road, B730 and vice versa.
