Lee Street - Temporary Closure to Facilitate Sewer Connection Works

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2026
The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Lee Street, Oldham from its junction with Bisley Street for a distance of 30 metres in a south easterly direction.
The alternative routes will be: Northbound - via Union Street West and Manchester Street Southbound - Manchester Street, Frederick Street, Napier Street West, Napier Street East, Union Street West.
The Order is to be made to facilitate sewer connection works and will be in force for 15 days from 8th August 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
