RBKC HOUSING PARKING BAY PROVISIONS IN THE LONSDALE HOUSE ESTATE, WORLDS END ESTATE, WORLDS END ESTATE UNDERGROUND CAR PARK
The Kensington and Chelsea (Housing Estates) (Off-Street Parking Places and Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No.*) Order 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the general effect of which would be in respect of the following off-street housing estates to:-
(a) Lonsdale House Estate - to convert RBKC Housing Residents’ Bay (Bay 30) to RBKC Housing Personalised Disabled Bay (bay PE2-04).
(b) Worlds End Estate - to convert RBKC Housing Visitor Permit Parking Bay (bay 8) to RBKC Housing Personalised Disabled Bay (bay WE1-05);
(c) Worlds End Estate - to Convert RBKC Housing Visitor Permit Parking Bay (bay 4) to RBKC Housing Personalised Disabled Bay (bay WE1-06).
(d) Worlds End Estate Underground Car Park - to convert RBKC Housing Resident Parking Bay (bay 68) to RBKC Housing Personalised Disabled Bay (bay WE2-08).
2. A copy of the Order and other documents may be obtained by emailing trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk or by contacting Nuala Reidy by telephone on 07739 317 017 quoting reference Housing/Jul26 Misc and can be inspected by appointment at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
3. Anyone wishing to support or object to the proposal or make any other representations in respect of it, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof, to trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk or Traffic Orders, Transportation and Highways, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX quoting reference Housing/Jul26 Misc, by 12th August 2026.
4. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
