SWARKESTONE ROAD, WESTON ON TRENT
WHEN: 12 August to 13 August 2026 (Overnight between 22:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Swarkestone Road, Weston on Trent between Derby Road and Main Street.
REASON: To facilitate vegetation removal and structure examination.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Swarkestone Road, Derby Road, A50 Jct. A514 Roundabout, High Street, Aston Lane, Chellaston Lane, Weston Road, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
