THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL
(ROSEACRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Blackpool Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers to facilitate carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing. The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) Prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding in any direction along the length of Roseacre between its junction with Abbey Road and its junction with Stoneycroft Avenue.
(b) No right or left turn from Keston Grove on to Roseacre.
(c) No right or left turn from Rosemary Avenue on to Roseacre.
(d) No right or left turn from Roseway on to Roseacre.
Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained wherever possible.
NB. Vehicular access will not be permitted whilst works are being undertaken to plane the carriageway and laying of the binder.
All diversion routes will be clearly signed and maintained on site.
The proposed Order will commence on 12 August 2026 and continue in force for eighteen months or until the sooner completion of the aforesaid works. It is expected that the works will take 9 days.
