The Isle of Wight Council (Marsh Road, Gurnard, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2026

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 27 July 2026 until 1800 hours on Friday 31 July 2026, or when the works has been completed, Marsh Road, Gurnard, will be closed for its entire length. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 24 July 2026 and Friday 04 September 2026 the following roads / path will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable footway resurfacing works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2026

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Saturday 25 July 2026, between 1600 hours and 2130 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along:

  1. Culver Parade between Avenue Road and Fort Street;
  2. Sandown Esplanade between Esplanade Road and Avenue Road.

The following roads will be closed as the parade proceeds:

  1. High Street for its entire length;
  2. Beachfield Road between its junctions with Royal Crescent and High Street;
  3. Royal Crescent for its entire length;
  4. Melville Street between its junctions with Royal Crescent and Fitzroy Street;
  5. Fitzroy Street between its junctions with Melville Street and Station Avenue;
  6. Station Avenue between its junctions with Fitzroy Street and Albert Road;
  7. Albert Road between its junctions with Station Avenue and Victoria Road;
  8. Victoria Road between its junctions with Albert Road and High Street;
  9. Culver Parade for its entire length.

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2026

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Saturday 25 July 2025, between 1600 hours and 2130 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to wait along:

  1. Beachfield Road between its junctions with Royal Crescent and High Street;
  2. Royal Crescent for its entire length;
  3. Fitzroy Street between its junctions with Melville Street and Station Avenue;
  4. Station Avenue between its junctions with Fitzroy Street and Albert Road;
  5. Albert Road between its junctions with Station Avenue and Victoria Road.

The restrictions will apply on both sides on all locations. The restrictions are required for safety during Sandown's Main Carnival. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

  1. Queens Road between its junctions with Westwood Drive and West Street;
  2. West Street between its junctions with Queens Road and Lind Street;
  3. Lind Street for its entire length;
  4. St Thomas Square for its entire length;
  5. Cross Street for its entire length;
  6. Union Street for its entire length;
  7. Esplanade on both sides, between its junctions with Union Street and North Walk.

This order is required in the interests of road safety during the IW Pride Street Parade event. Alternative routes will be signposted locally.

The Isle of Wight Council (Eastern Gardens, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2026

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for a period from 0000 hours on Friday 17th July 2026 until 23:59 hours on Monday 20 July 2026, or when the event is finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along Eastern Gardens, Ryde, for its entire length.
