“The Aberdeenshire Council (South Road, Peterhead – 23.07.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate on 23.07.26 between 17:45 and 23:30 and will prohibit any person from driving on South Road, Peterhead from Kirk Street Roundabout to Meethill Road junction.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared to allow safe passage through the event.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety owing to Thursday Night at Lido as part of Peterhead Scottish Week. An alternative route is available via Meethill Road, West Road and vice versa. Any queries should be directed to Lisa Mair on 01467 539751.
