What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BOWLING GREEN, BRASSINGTON
WHEN: 12 August to 17 August 2026 (between 08:00 to 16:00 each working day)
WHERE: Bowling Green, Brassington between Jct. with Dale End and Jct. with Kings Hill.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Jaspers Lane, Maddock Lake, Dale End and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
