NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS 26-27 NO1E) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Back Mount Street, Botany Bay Access Road, Glamis Drive, Grange Drive, Millenium Way, Unity Place and Village Way, Chorley, Chorley Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Limited Waiting, Restriction of Waiting and Prohibition of Stopping on School Keep Clear markings) Order 2014" insofar as it relates to Item c) of Schedule 1.
b) The "Lancashire County Council (Chorley Borough Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009" insofar as it relates to:
i. Item (6) of Schedule 11.078;
ii. Item (1) of Schedule 11.081;
iii. Item (1)ii) of Schedule 12.040.
2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road;
a) Harrison Road, Chorley, the north east side, from a point 10 metres northwest of its junction with the centreline of Rangletts Avenue for a distance of 20 metres in a south easterly direction;
b) Pall Mall, Chorley, the west side, from a point 35 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Gilbert Street to its junction with the centreline of Coventry Street;
c) Pall Mall, Chorley, the west side, from a point 31.5 metres northeast of its junction with the centreline of Hindley Street for a distance of 19 metres in a north westerly direction;
d) Rangletts Avenue, Chorley, both sides, from it junction with the centreline of Harrison Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction;
e) Unity Place, Buckshaw Village, the north side, from its junction with the Centreline of Village Way for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly direction;
f) Unity Place, Buckshaw Village, the north side, from a point 70 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Village Way in a westerly then southerly direction around the turning head to a point 115 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Village Way.
3. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Saturday between 9am and 6pm in Saville Street, Chorley, the south east side, from its junction with the Centreline of Weldbank Lane for a distance of 129 metres in a north-easterly direction.
4. Introduce a limited waiting parking place for 30 minutes with no return within 1 hour Monday to Saturday 10am – 4pm in the following lengths of road:
a) Pall Mall, Chorley, the north west side, from a point 8 metres northeast of its junction with the centreline of Gilbert Street for a distance of 27 metres in a north easterly direction;
b) Pall Mall, Chorley, the north west side, from a point 17 metres northeast of its junction with the centreline of Hindley Street for a distance of 14 metres in a north easterly direction.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Chorley, PR7 1DP and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
