HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel Awdurdod Priffyrdd Cwmogwr, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn a fydd yn cyflwyno'r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. 

Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd yn ystod y gwaith o chwyth-raeanu a pheintio elfennau gwaith dur y bont. Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 29/07/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o chwe mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 3 Awst 2026 a 28 Awst 2026. 

Atodlen - Cilffordd Sydd Ar Agor i Bob Traffig 70 Cwmogwr o gefn Eglwys Sant Tyfodwg tua 90 metr o’i chyffordd â’r A4093 i gyfeiriad cyffredinol i’r de ac yna i’r de-ddwyrain am tua 500 metr gan groesi’r bont sy’n rhychwantu afon Ogwr Fach. 

Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau modur sy’n teithio i’r de-ddwyrain yw trwy’r A4093, Heol Gilfach Goch sy’n arwain at Old Parish Road, ac yna ar hyd Cilffordd Sydd Ar Agor i Bob Traffig 23 Llangrallo Uchaf ac yn olaf ar hyd Cilffordd Sydd Ar Agor i Bob Traffig 58 Llangrallo Isaf a vice versa. Nid oes unrhyw lwybr amgen ar gyfer cerddwyr, seiclwyr neu farchogion. 

Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol ond ar yr amser ac i’r graddau a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a bennir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddydau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE FOR PEDESTRIANS, CYCLISTS, HORSE RIDERS AND MOTOR VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC 70 OGMORE VALLEY) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Ogmore Valley in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. 

The Order is in the interest of public safety during the grit blasting and painting of the steelwork elements of the bridge. 

The Order will come into force on the 29/07/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of six months or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner. 

It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken from 3rd August 2026 to 28th August 2026. 

Schedule - Byway Open to All Traffic 70 Ogmore Valley from the rear of St Tyfodwg’s Church approximately 90 metres from its junction with the A4093 and proceeding in a general southerly and then south-easterly direction for approximately 500 metres and crossing the bridge spanning the Ogwr Fach. 

The alternative route for motor vehicles if travelling in a south easterly direction is via the A4093, Gilfach Goch Road leading to old Parish Road, then finally along Byway Open to All Traffic 23 Coychurch Higher and finally along Byway Open to All Traffic 58 Coychurch Lower and Vice Versa. There is no alternative route for pedestrians, cyclists or horse riders. 

The restriction shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
