Flintshire - Multiple Temporary Road Closures and One-Way Restriction Suspension

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

DRURY

Flintshire County Council has made an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding on Beech Road, between its junctions with Drury Lane and Newton Drive Drury, in the County of Flintshire. The reason for the closure is to facilitate gas mains replacement with associated works by Wales and West Utilities. Alternative routes will be signed accordingly with prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of the works. The Order comes into force on the 20th July 2026. The road will be closed for 6 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. Flintshire County Council has made an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding on B5432 Halkyn Street and Halkyn Road (including its junction with Crossroads), between its junctions with A5026 Victoria Place and A5026 Fon Park Road, Holywell, in the county of Flintshire. The reason for the closure is to facilitate sewer reinforcement works with associated works by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water Capital Works. Alternative routes will be signed accordingly with the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The Order comes into force on the 20th July 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. It is anticipated that the road will be closed for 11 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC NOTICE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER AND SUSPENSION OF A ONE-WAY RESTRICTION ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 BUCKLEY

The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 17th July 2026 to make an Order which will: Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding on Knowle Lane, between its junctions with Church Road and The Mews. Suspend during the period of the closure the One-Way restriction currently in force along Knowle Lane to allow vehicles to travel in either direction along the highway between its junctions with Park Walk and The Mews. The reason for the order is to allow for remedial works in the carriageway with associated works by Ash Civils. Alternative routes will be signed accordingly with the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on the 2nd August 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will be closed and the one-way restriction suspended for approximately one day, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.
