ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
The City of Edinburgh Council proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 redetermining the roads described in the Schedule hereto. The title of the Order is “The City of Edinburgh Council (Morningside Road Area, Edinburgh) (Redetermination of Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 202_” - RSO/26/04. A copy of the proposed Order and the accompanying plan showing the roads over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage are to be redetermined, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order and our privacy notice can be viewed free of charge at the City of Edinburgh Council, Calton Hub Reception between 09.30 and 15.30 from 17/07/26 to 14/08/26 or online during the same period at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders and www.tellmescotland.gov.uk. Any person may, within 28 days from 17/07/26, object to the making of the Order by notice, quoting reference rSo/26/04, in writing to Traffic Orders, Calton Hub, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG, or by e-mail to TRO.consultations@ edinburgh.gov.uk. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
SCHEDULE 1 ROAD OVER WHICH MEANS OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE IS TO BE REDETERMINED FROM CARRIAGEWAY TO FOOTWAY Morningside rd (West side) (i) All that part of the carriageway on the west side of Morningside Rd, from 1.23m west of the intersection of the extended north kerbline of Cuddy La & the extended west kerbline of Morningside Rd, eastwards for 3.61m & which has a width that varies from 0m to 1.27m; (ii) All that part of the carriageway on the west side of Morningside Rd, from 1.2m west of the intersection of the extended south kerbline of Cuddy La and the extended west kerbline of Morningside Rd, southwards for 56.87m or thereby & which has a width that varies from 2.83m to 4.31m & (iii) All that part of the carriageway on the west side of Morningside Rd, from 62.06m south of the intersection of the extended south kerbline of Cuddy La & the extended west kerbline of Morningside Rd, southwards for 4.67m & which has a width that varies from 4.09m to 0m.
