(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (B712 Stobo, Peebles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days until 24 July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for BT pole replacement works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B712 at Stobo, Peebles.
The alternative route for south westbound traffic is via the B712, A72, A701 and B712 to the point of closure, for north eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
