MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SECTION 14(1)(b) - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 MONMOUTHSHIRE BRIDGES – VARIOUS COMMUNITIES TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER JULY 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under S14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order was made due the likelihood of danger to the public. The effect of the Order was to temporarily close the footpaths detailed in the table below and in the body of the order and as indicated on the order plans.

The Order will come into force on the 22/07/2026 and will remain in force for up to six months and may need to be extended beyond this period by application to the Welsh Ministers.
By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
