1. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Meadlands drive on the northern side of the road from the Junction with Sandy Lane (side of number 58 Sandy Lane) to a point opposite number 96 Meadlands Drive, Petersham.

2. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2026. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 July 2026 until 07 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

3. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

4. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure

North Road, Kew.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Vegetation Removal and Structural Examination works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in North Road, Kew.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in North Road, Kew from the Junction with High Park Avenue to a point outside numbers 97-101 North Road, Kew.

3. The order will come into effect 30 July 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 30 July 2026 to 31 July 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via High Park Avenue, Mortlake Road, West Park Road, and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Parking Restrictions Queens Road & Road Closure Park Hill, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Park Hill and Queens Road Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Park Hill Richmond at the junction with Queens Road there will also be parking restrictions in place on Queens Road Richmond, between the dates indicated below. The parking restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 20 July 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 20 July until 31 July 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Retreat Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Retreat Road, Richmond from a point outside number 10 to the boundary wall of Friar's Lodge.

3. The order will come into effect 20 July 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 20 July to 22 July 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice that on 14 July 2026 they made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to facilitate the holding of the “Center Stage Event” to be held in Richmond.

Friday 17 July 2026, PROW 157 Richmond Riverside from the junction with Water Lane to Richmond Bridge Underpass will be closed from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.

Saturday 18 July 2026 George Street, Richmond will be closed from the junction with King Street to Duke Street from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Saturday 18 July 2026 – Whittaker Avenue, Richmond will be closed from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Sunday 19 July 2026 – Hill Rise, Richmond will be closed from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Temporary "no waiting" Restrictions will apply at the following locations: All Day, Sat 18 July 2026 Single Yellow Line in Parkshot, Richmond and Double Yellow Line in Whittaker Avenue Richmond.

3. The diversion route for the George Street, Richmond closure will be, St Margaret's Road, The Avenue, Twickenham Road, Kew Road, Twickenham Road, Parkshot, Little Green.

4. Nothing in this Order will apply to:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a Police Constable, Police Community Support Officer or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

(b) any vehicle being used by a statutory undertaker, whereby it is necessary by reason of an emergency, for that vehicle to have access to part of the street under restriction.

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. The prohibitions or restrictions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in with Waldegrave Road from the Junction with Strawberry Hill Road to the Junction with Waldegrave Gardens.

3. There will also be parking restrictions in place in Waldegrave Road, Twickenham which will operate on a rolling basis from the Junction with Strawberry Hill Road to the Junction with Waldegrave Gardens.

4. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 27 July until 09 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
