What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) C360 (Part), Warminster; from its property known as No.68 Deverill Road to its property known as No.87 Deverill Road.

B) Hillwood Lane (Part), Warminster; from its junction with C360 to its junction with Hillwood Close.

C) Bradley Road (Part), Warminster; from its junction with C360 for a distance of approximately 75m in an easterly direction to enable Wales & West Utilities Ltd to carry out gas mains and associated works.

Alternative route via: C360 (unaffected length) – B3414 – A36 – C360 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

Alternative route B: via Hillwood Lane (unaffected length) – Ashley Place and vice versa.

Alternative route C: via Bradley Road (unaffected length) – Potters Hill – A360 – C360 and vice versa.

D) Ludlow Close (Part), Westbury; from its property known as No.37 Ludlow Close to its property known as No.32 Ludlow Close to enable Openreach to carry out ducting and associated works.

This Order will come into operation on 11 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 3 days.

This Order will come into operation at 09:00 on 23 July 2026 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day until 30 July 2026.

O) Wadswick Lane (Part), Box; from its junction with A365 to its junction with Loward Wadswick.

P) A365 (Part), Atworth and Box; from its junction with C169 to its junction with B3109 to enable Traffic Management for ingress and egress to WOMAD Festival.

This Order will come into operation on 20 July 2026 and the closure will be required until 27 July 2026.

Q) B3353 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Alexander Terrace to its junction with Providence Lane to enable Wessex Water to carry out leak repair works and other associated works.

Alternative route via B3353 (unaffected length) – A4 – C86 – B3353 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order which previously came into operation on 19 April 2026 will now recommence on 19 July 2026 and the closure will be required for 1 day.

Orders A) to P) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Order Q) has a maximum duration of 18 months.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) C395 Southbound Carriageway (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its junction with Telford Drive.

And to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following lengths of roads:

B) A350 (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with C395 to its roundabout junction with A365.

C) A365 (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 65m in a north easterly direction to enable Living Space Housing to carry out a new electric connection and other associated works.

Alternative route via C395 (unaffected length) – A350 and vice versa.

The closure, speed restriction and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation as follows:

  • A) 01 September 2026 and the closure will be required until 22 September 2026.
  • B/C) 10 August 2026 and the speed restrictions will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 28 August 2026.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

Phase 1: C270 (Part), Horningsham; from its junction with Island to a distance of approximately 450m in a north easterly direction.

Phase 2: The Island (Part), Horningsham; from Church Street to its junction with Chapel Street.

Phase 3: Church Lane (Part), Horningsham; from its junction with Church Street to its property known as St Johns The Baptist Church to enable Wessex Water Services Limited to carry out mains replacement and associated works.

Alternative route 1 via C270 (unaffected length) – C282 – C41 – C281 and vice versa.

Alternative route 2 via Chapel Street – Church Street and vice versa.

Alternative route 3 via Chapel Lane – Rowles Hill – Gentle Street – C270 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 23 July 2026 and the phases will run consecutively and the closure will be required 24 hours a day until 09 October 2026.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
