Notice of Intended disposal of Open Space land by way of a grant of an easement
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Coventry, in exercise of their powers under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) intends to dispose of by way of a grant of an easement over two pieces of land forming part of Gosford Green Park Coventry, measuring in total approximately 6 metres in length.
The plan showing the piece of land may be inspected at the Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR during normal office hours, or on the Council’s website at https://www.coventry.gov.uk/parks or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to Paul.Beesley@coventry.gov.uk

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
ENGLETON ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Engleton Road commencing from its junction with Holland Road and continuing to its junction with Dugdale Road.
The Order will come into effect on 08:00 hours on Sunday 19th July 2026 and is required to allow for the repair of a manhole cover and frame on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 17:00 hours on Sunday 19th July 2026.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site. Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Engleton Road
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

STIVICHALL CROFT AND COAT OF ARMS
BRIDGE ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along the roads set out in the schedule below.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 20th July 2026 and is required to enable National Grid to safely undertake jointing works on newly installed cable.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Monday 27th July 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

ROMAN ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Roman Road commencing at its junction Briton Road.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 20th July 2026 and is required to enable the safe replacement of a main, with services and connections.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 31st July 2026.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along the roads set out in the schedule below.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 20th July 2026 and is required to enable the safe excavation of a trench in the carriageway for the installation of ducting.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 7th July 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Holbrook Lane Service Road at its junction with Yelverton Road.
The Order will come into effect from 20:00 hours on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 and is required to enable the safe maintenance works to telecoms antennas using a MEWP in the road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 05:00 hours on Thursday 23rd July 2026.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Sandpits Lane commencing at at its junction with Bennetts Road and continuing to its junction with Tamworth Road.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 20th July 2026 and is required to enable approximately 150m of excavation to install a new foul sewer.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Sunday 23rd August 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:

The Order would come into effect at 08:00 hours on Sunday 26th July 2026 and is required to enable the repair of a manhole cover and frame on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 17:00 hours on Sunday 26th July 2026.

COVENTRY UNIVERSITY GRADUATION, COVENTRY 2026
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along the roads set out in the Schedule below.
The Order would prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated signs on site. Diversion routes for the closures would be as signed on site.
The Order would come into effect from 07:00 hours on Monday 27th July 2026 and is required to enable the safe operation of the ceremony.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months, but it is expected that the road will be re-opened at 17:30 hours on Friday 31st July 2026.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS QUARRYFIELD LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit
vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Quarryfield Lane southbound from the roundabout with Deasy Road to a point approx. 50m south of the roundabout.
The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 27 July 2026 and is required to enable telecommunication mast maintenance and associated works on Quarryfield Lane to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed 26 July 2026.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure would be sign posted on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR EVENTS AT THE COVENTRY BUILDING SOCIETY ARENA 2026/27
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along those lengths of road as set out in Schedule 1 below on the dates specified in Schedule 2 between the hours of 16:30 and 22:45.
The Order would come into effect at 14:00 on 31 July 2026 and is required to enable the safe access and egress from events and sporting fixtures being held at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
There may be events in addition to those listed in Schedule 2 or events which are rearranged once this Order is made. In such circumstances the road closures listed in Schedule 1 may be activated by signage on site. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closures would be sign posted on site. Pedestrian access to premises on the affected lengths of road would be maintained at all times.
Exemptions would be provided for: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or an accredited traffic marshal;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles, when necessary, at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the events taking place.
