Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Hunts Hill Road (D60) Normandy; Prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding at a speed greater than 30 MPH in that length of; (b) Guildford Road (A323) Normandy as extends from its junction with (D60) Hunts Hill Road to its junction with (A324) Pirbright Road; (c) Pirbright Road (A324) Normandy as extends from its junction with (D60) Hunts Hill Road to its junction with (A323) Guildford Road; (d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Normandy) (30 MPH Speed Limit, 40 MPH Speed Limit, and 50 MPH Speed Limit) (Amendment and Revocation) (Replacement) Order 2007” or any Order made or having effect as if made under Sections 82, 83 and/or 84 of the Act insofar as affects the lengths of roads described in this Notice. 

This Temporary Traffic Management Order is required to facilitate excavation, replacement of cabling, and reinstatement repair works, for on behalf of Durkin and Sons. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 11 weeks, on a rolling basis, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and prohibitions, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. 

The above restrictions shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police. Alternative Route: (A323) Guildford Road, and (A324) Pirbright Road, or this route in reverse.

Ockham Road North (B2039) Ockham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Ockham Road North (B2039) Ockham as extends from its junction with the roundabout with (B2039) Portsmouth Road to its junction with (C38) Guileshill Lane. 

Alternative Route: (1) (B2039) Ockham Road North, (B2039) Ockham Road South, (A246) Guildford Road, (A246) Epsom Road, (A25) Epsom Road, (A247) The Street, (A247) Clandon Road, (B2215) Portsmouth Road, (B2215) High Street, and (B2215) Portsmouth Road; (2) (B2215) Portsmouth Road, (B2215) High Street, (B2215) Portsmouth Road, (A247) Clandon Road, (A247) The Street, (A246) Epsom Road, (B2039) Ockham Road South, and (B2039) Ockham Road North. 

This Order is required to facilitate installation of foul rising main pipework for, or on behalf of Environ Civil Engineering. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 July 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Feltham Hill Road (D6205) Ashford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Feltham Hill Road (D6205) Ashford as extends from its junction with (D3270) Garden Close to its junction with (D3270) Chessholme Road. 

Alternative Route: Feltham Hill Road, Chertsey Road, (A308) Staines Road West, (B378) School Road, and Feltham Hill Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate mains water connection works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no other vehicular access through the closure, and all traffic, including emergency service vehicles, will be required to use the signed diversion route.

High Street (D3809) Walton-on-Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 13 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from turning right from High Street (D3809) Walton-on-Thames onto Ashley Road (A244).

Alternative route – A244 (Hersham Road and Robins Way), A317 (Hersham Bypass and Queens Road) and B365 (Ashley Road).

This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate electrical works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 July 2026 for 2 weeks between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

French Street (C236) Sunbury On Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of French Street (C236) Sunbury On Thames as extends from its junction with (D6234) The Pennards and for a distance of 33 metres in a southerly direction along French Street. 

Alternative Route: Elizabeth Gardens, Saxonbury Avenue, The Avenue, Manor Lane, and French Street, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate mains water pipe replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 28 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no other vehicular access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Farncombe Street (D98) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 13 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Farncombe Street (D98) Godalming as extends from its junction with Station Road (D5411) to its junction with St Johns Street (D5400); and 2. suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025” in so far as it relates to the road in 1.

Alternative route – Station Road, Bourne Road and Summers Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate a new service connection and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 July 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Holmbury Road (D276) Ewhurst
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Holmbury Road (D276) Ewhurst as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Holmbury House (Mullard Space Science Laboratory) and for a distance of 15 metres either side. 

Alternative Route: Holmbury Road, Radnor Road, Ewhurst Road, Peaslake Road, Shere Road, (B2127) Ockley Road, and Holmbury Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Morrison Telecom Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Crown Road (D3196) Virginia Water
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 13 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Crown Road (D3196) Virginia Water as extends from its junction with Trumps Green Road (C10) to the eastern boundary of Trumps Green County Infant School. Alternative route – Crown Road, Wellington Avenue and Trumps Green Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable M Group Telecoms to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 July 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Summers Road (D5400) Farncombe
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily; (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Summers Road (D5400) Farncombe as extends from its junction with (D5415) The Oval to a point in line with the common boundary between No.14 and No.12 Summers Road; (b) prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on both sides of the carriageway of Summers Road (D5400) Farncombe as extends from its junction with (X11046) White Star Close to a point in line with the common boundary between property No.14 and No.12 Summers Road. 

Alternative Route: Summers Road, Bourne Road, Station Road, Farncombe Street, and Summers Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer repair works for, or on behalf of Cappagh Construction. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 11 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and prohibition, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. For sub-paragraph (a) above: Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. 

For sub-paragraphs (d) above: Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

Grove Road (D5426) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Grove Road (D5426) Godalming. 

Alternative Route: Shackstead Lane, and (A3100) Ockford Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate installation of road marking works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible and will be night works, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Dukes Road (D3901) Hersham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 13 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Dukes Road (D3901) Hersham as extends from its junction with Profumo Road (D3901) to a point 40 metres north of this junction.

Alternative route – Profumo Road, Mole Road and Brittain Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to facilitate water works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 July 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Westfield Road (D4027) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 13 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Westfield Road (D4027) Guildford as extends from its junction with North Moors (X4027) to its junction with Westfield Road (X4027), located 68 metres east of the centreline of the junction of Westfield Road and North Moors.

Alternative route – Westfield Road and Moorfield Road.

This Order is required to enable Traffic Safety & Management Ltd to facilitate carriageway upgrades and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 25 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Central Avenue (D6927) West Molesey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 13 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting in that length of Central Avenue (D6927) West Molesey as extends from its junction with Walton Road (D369) to its junction with Dunstable Road (N6927).

This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate a new service connection and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 July 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the waiting restriction, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

C157 Fairmile Lane, Cobham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C157 Fairmile Lane, Cobham that extends from it’s the southern side of its junction with D6857 Fairacres, to the northern side of its junction with D6857 Green Lane.

Alternative route:- Portsmouth Road, Between Streets, High Street, River Hill, Mill Road, Stoke Road and Leigh Hill Road. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connections and/or maintenance works.

These works are anticipated to be carried out in four sections, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within 6 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each, day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route described above and/or by means of road plates.

D3825 Ambleside Avenue, Walton On Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 15 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3825 Ambleside Avenue, Walton On Thames that extends from its junction with D3830 Rydens Road, to the southern side of its junction with D3827 The Furrows.

Alternative routes:- 1. The Furrows and Rydens Avenue. 

2. Rydens Road, Meadowside and The Furrows. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connections and/or maintenance works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out in four sections, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, within 3 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each, day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above and/or by means of road plates. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above.

Guildford Road (D3020) and Guildford Street (D3020) Chertsey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of (a) Guildford Road (D3020) Chertsey that is crossed by the level crossing known as “Chertsey Level Crossing” and for a distance of 30 metres in a south westerly direction; (b) Guildford Street (D3020) Chertsey that is crossed by the level crossing known as “Chertsey Level Crossing” and for a distance of 30 metres in a north easterly direction. Alternative Route: Guildford Road, (A320) Bell Bridge Road, (A317) Pyrcroft Road, (A317) Eastworth Road, Victory Road, Station Road, and Guildford Street, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is to facilitate level crossing on/off track rail maintenance works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 11.30pm and 5.30am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 August 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Lyne Road (D3180) Virginia Water
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Lyne Road (D3180) Virginia Water as extends from its junction with (C10) Trumps Green Road and for a distance of 80 metres in a south westerly direction along Lyne Road. 

Alternative Route: Trumps Green Road, Bridge Lane, and Lyne Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of Telligent Ltd. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 August 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Prestwick Lane (D154) Chiddingfold
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Prestwick Lane (D154) Chiddingfold as extends from its junction with (D157) Pook Hill to its junction with the access to the property known as “Prestwick Coach House”. 

Alternative Route: Prestwick Lane, Combe Lane, (A283) Petworth Lane, Brook Road, Church Lane, (A286) Haslemere Road, (A286) Grayswood Road, Lower Road, and Prestwick Lane, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate water utility works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 23.59pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 August 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no other vehicular traffic through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Wick Road (D3112) and Blays Lane (D3123) Englefield Green
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in – (a) that length of Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green as extends from the access for “Blays House” to the access for “Sandylands”; and (b) that length of Blays Lane (D3123) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with Wick Road (D3112) to the access for “Blays House”; and 

2. suspend “The Surrey County Council Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” and “The Surrey County Council Blays Lane (D3123) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as they relate to the roads described in 1. above. 

Alternative route – 1.(a) A30 (London Road), A328 (St Judes Road), Bishopsgate Road, Wick Lane and Wick Road, or this route in reverse.

1. (b) A30 (London Road), A328 (St Judes Road) and Blays Lane, or this
route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable OCU Services to facilitate high voltage works and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 8 August 2026 for 1 month between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services will be maintained either side of by not through the works site.

Sutton Lane (D281) Abinger Hammer and Abinger
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Sutton Lane (D281) Abinger Hammer and Abinger.

Alternative route – B2126 (Horsham Road), Raikes Lane and Abinger Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate cabling work and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 10 August 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 9.00pm and 6.00am. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Shepperton Road (B376) Shepperton
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Shepperton Road (B376) Shepperton as extends from the access for “Laleham Farm” to the access for “Laleham Park Nursery”.

Alternative route – B376 (The Broadway), B377 (The Broadway, Ashford Road and Kingston Road), A308 (Staines Road West), A244 (Windmill Road, Upper Halliford Road, Upper Halliford Bypass and Gaston Bridge Road) and B3366 (Green Lane), or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Ltd to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 August 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Mint Street (D5421) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Mint Street (D5421) Godalming as extends from its junction with Church Street (D5403) to its junction with Station Road (D5421).

Alternative route – Church Street and Station Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate wooden post replacement and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 8 August 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services to properties within the closure will be maintained. Access for residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 1 August
