ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(TRINITY ROAD, SW19) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations in Trinity Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Trinity Road, from its junction with The Broadway northward for a distance of 40 metres; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed on the western footway of Trinity Road in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated within the length of Trinity Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions and suspensions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to:-
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent the road or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works;
(e) any person requiring access to properties adjacent to the footway specified in paragraph 2(c) above.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using one or more of the following roads as required:-

Christchurch Road, Gladstone Road, Hartfield Road, Haydons Road, Merantun Way, Merton High Street, Merton Road, Priory Road, Queens Road, Sir Cyril Black Way and The Broadway.

7. Pedestrians affected by a footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

9. The Order would come into operation on Saturday 8th August 2026 and would remain in force for 3 months. It is currently anticipated that the crane works would take place on Saturday 8th August 2026 and Sunday 9th August 2026, with Saturday 15th August 2026 and Sunday 16th August 2026 as back-up dates.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(DEBURGH ROAD) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate a new water connection in Deburgh Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
   (a) enter or proceed in Deburgh Road, from its junction with Norman Road to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 19 and 21 Deburgh Road;
   (b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions and suspensions will only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the closure should proceed as directed by signage.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply:-
   (a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
   (b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
   (c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
   (d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 27th July 2026 with the works anticipated to be completed by Friday 31st July 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(ALWYNE ROAD, SW19) (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the installation of service cables in Alwyne Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:
   (a) proceed other than in a generally north-eastbound direction in Alwyne Road, from its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road to a point opposite the south-western flank wall of Central House, Wimbledon Hill Road; or
   (b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of road specified in sub paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:-
   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the works;
   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
   (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions.
6. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the one-way working will be via Worcester Road, Compton Road, Wimbledon Hill Road and Alwyne Road.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 28 July 2026 and it is anticipated the works will be completed on 7 August 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(ASHRIDGE WAY AND WOODLAND WAY, SM4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gas mains replacement works in Ashridge Way and Woodland Way, SM4 they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
   (a) enter or proceed in:
• (i) Ashridge Way, for its entire length;
• (ii) Woodland Way, from its junction with Ashridge Way north-eastward for a distance of 30 metres,
  (b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the roads or lengths of roads specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of roads specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions and suspensions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the closure should proceed via:-
   (a) Hillcross Avenue, Monkleigh Road and Leamington Avenue or vice versa.
   (b) Hillcross Avenue, Arundel Avenue and Leamington Avenue or vice versa.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply:-
   (a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
   (b) to anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
   (c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
   (d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into operation on 27th July 2026 with the works anticipated to be completed by 31st August 2026. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.
