(BEECH STREET, PADDOCK, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Beech Street, Paddock from its junction with Luck Lane to a point outside property No. 88 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Beech Street, Luck Lane, Larch Road, North Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3 August 2026 and remain in force until 7 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PARKWOOD ROAD, LONGWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Parkwood Road, Longwood from a point outside property No. 33 to a point outside property No. 37 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Parkwood Road, Grove Street, Stoney Lane, Leymoor Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 6 August 2026 and remain in force until 12 August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CALF HILL ROAD, THONGSBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Calf Hill Road, Thongsbridge from its junction with Woodhead Road to its junction with Alice Bank Chase PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Calf Hill Road, Dean Brook Road, Deanhouse Lane, Giles Street, School Street, Thong Lane, Woodhead Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3 August 2026 and remain in force until 21 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HEATH ROAD, LINTHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Heath Road, Linthwaite from its junction with Church Lane for approximately 35 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Heath Road, Blackmoorfoot Road, Gillroyd Lane, Church Lane.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3 August 2026 and remain in force until 18 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BINN ROAD, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Binn Road, Marsden from roundabout at junction with Binn Road/Mount Street to its junction with Binn Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:- Road Closure - via Fall Lane, A62 Manchester Road, Mount Road and vice versa; Point Closures - via Carrs Road, Peel Street, then follow road closure diversion.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3 August 2026 and remain in force until 10 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BULAY ROAD, THORNTON LODGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bulay Road, Thornton Lodge from a point outside property No. 62 to a point outside property No. 68 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3 August 2026 and remain in force until 7 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WENTWORTH STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wentworth Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Waverley Road to its junction with Spring Bank PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Wentworth Street, Fitzwilliam Street, Trinity Street, Vernon Avenue, Mountjoy Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 4 August 2026 and remain in force until 5 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOOD NOOK LANE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Nook Lane, Honley from its junction with Knowle Road for approximately 20 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Meltham Road, Moorbottom, Bradshaw Road, the unaffected length of Wood Nook Lane.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 3 August 2026 between 09:30 hours to 15:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(EAST STREET, LINDLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of East Street, Lindley from its junction with Halifax Road to a point outside property No. 60 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of East Street, Birchencliffe Hill Road, Halifax Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 06:00 hours on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain force until 23:00 hours on 30 August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ROTCHER LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Rotcher Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with Blakestones Road to a point outside property No. 3 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Blakestones Road, Holme Lane, Howgate Road, Rotcher Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 21 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SMITHY PLACE LANE, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Smithy Place Lane, Brockholes from a point approximately 80 metres north of junction with Woodhead Road to a point approximately 150 metres west of New Mill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Smithy Place Lane, New Mill Road, Station Road, Woodhead Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 21 July 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MOOR SIDE LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Side Lane, Slaithwaite from a point outside property No. 5 to its junction with Tiding Field Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Moor Side Lane, Highfield Road, Mellor Brook, Waller Clough Road, Quebec Road, New Hey Road, Pole Gate.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 20 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(COWCLIFFE HILL ROAD, COWCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Cowcliffe:-

Road Closure
Cowcliffe Hill Road - from its junction with Clough Road to its junction with Sandwich Crescent;

Point Closures
The following lengths of road at their junction with Cowcliffe Hill Road:-
North Cross Road, Netheroyd Hill Road, South Cross Road, Brayside Avenue, York Avenue, Birklands Road

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 27 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CLIFF ROAD, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cliff Road from a point outside property No. 36a to its junction with Wooldale Cliff Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wooldale Cliff Road, Cliff Road, New Laithe Lane, South Lane, Back Lane, Cliff Lane, Cliffe Street.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 23 July 2026 and remain in force until 5 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GRAMFIELD ROAD/DRYCLOUGH ROAD/TOM LANE/WILLIAM HORSFALL STREET, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Crosland Moor:-

Point Closures
The following roads at their junction with Blackmoorfoot Road:-
Gramfield Road, Dryclough Road, Tom Lane, William Horsfall Street

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected will be available as follows:-

Gramfield Road/Tom Lane - via the unaffected length of Gramfield Road, Thornleigh Road, Seagrave Road, Tom Road, Frances Avenue and vice versa.

Dryclough Road - via the unaffected length of Dryclough Road, Foster Avenue, Balmoral Avenue, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

William Horsfall Street - via the unaffected length of William Horsfall Street, Dalmeny Avenue, Balmoral Avenue, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20 July 2026 and remain in force until 21 August 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
