NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1268, Holme Lacy Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1268, Holme Lacy Road, Hereford, from the junction with the A49 to the railway bridge. Grid Ref: 351647/238278.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Holme Lacy Road onto the A49, onto the B4399 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed over 4 weekends (from Friday 20.00 - Monday 06.00).
