What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

CLAREMONT AVENUE AND SHREWSBURY AVENUE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a mobile elevating work platform and associated works in Claremont Avenue and Shrewsbury Avenue, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in those lengths of:-

(a) Claremont Avenue, which lies between the south-western kerb-line of Kenton Road a point 5.00 metres south-west of that kerb-line; and

(b) Shrewsbury Avenue, which lies between the north-eastern kerb-line of Kenton Road and the south-western kerb-line of Kenton Road service road fronting Nos. 532 to 576 Kenton Road,

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred in (a) and (b) to above would apply from 27th July 2026 to 29th July 2026 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Claremont Avenue and Shrewsbury Avenue would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
