NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U72014 Norton Brook Road, Temporary Road Closure Order 2026, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72014 Norton Brook Road, from the junctim with Twyford Common Rd to Highland Grove. Grid Ref: 351259/235997 to 2350835/235442.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Norton Brook Rd onto the A49 on Holme Lacy Rd onto Hoarwithy Rd onto Twyford Common Rd. and vice versa. The said closure is required due to telecoms cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days (09:30 to 15:30 Fri & Mon only).
