PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 6 (PART) IN THE PARISH

OF MOSTON TEMPORARY – Prohibition

of Pedestrians Order 2026

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:

That length of Public Footpath No. 6 Moston which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7231 6383 and runs in a generally southwest direction for approx. 21m. to OSGR SJ 7229 6382.

This Closure is necessary to protect the public from dangers posed by road construction and associated works on or near the Public Right of Way.

The Order was made on 9th July 2026 and came into force on 16th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

An alternative route is available on site.
