Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
Effect of the Order:
To Revoke: ‘Payment Parking Mon – Sat 10:00am – 5:30pm
Max Stay 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs/Resident Permit Holders Only A Mon – Sat 10:00am – 5:30pm’ Restrictions
To Replace with: ‘Access Marking’.
Road Description
Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill, South Side: From a point in line with the western boundary of property number 106, east for approximately 5.5 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tile: TQ410 937 Revision 1 to Revision 5.

(Toot Hill Road/Colemans Lane, Stanford Rivers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. (Phase 1) To temporarily close that length of Toot Hill Road, Stanford Rivers in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Colemans Lane for a distance of approximately 105m in a north westerly direction.
2. (Phase 2) To temporarily close that length of Toot Hill Road, Stanford Rivers in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Colemans Lane for a distance of approximately 150m in a north easterly direction and that length of Colemans Lane, Stanford Rivers in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Toot Hill Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 12 days in phases, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30063955064/ECC2002320297 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via: Toot Hill Road, Greensted Road and vice versa (with access only into Drapers Corner, Toot Hill Road, and Colemans Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 23rd July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, City of Chelmsford & District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.7) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the City of Chelmsford & District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (City of Chelmsford & District of Epping Forest) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 23rd July 2026; exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Broomstick Hall Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Ninefields for a distance of approximately 150m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2402162 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while zebra crossing installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via: Ninefields, Parklands, Crooked Mile Roundabout, Crooked Mile, Sewardstone Road, Farm Hill Road (with access only into Broomstick Hall Road) and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 2nd July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
