PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER

WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981,

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Oxfordshire County Council, Sandford-on-Thames Footpath No. 13 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2026

The Order made on 13 July 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting, as shown on the Order map:-

Sandford-on-Thames FP13 running from OS Grid Ref SP 5422 0166 eastwards for 606m to SP 5480 0180 to a new line running from OS Grid Ref SP 5422 0166 south-eastwards for 52m to SP 5425 0159 and east-north-eastwards for 622m to SP 5480 0180.

A copy of the Order, the Order map and an explanatory statement may be seen free of charge during opening hours at Blackbird Leys Library, Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, OX4 6HT, Tel: 01865 815116, or online at https://letstalk.oxfordshire.gov.uk/sandford-03789 (accessible via the QR code). A copy can also be obtained on request from rightsofwaylegal@oxfordshire.gov.uk

Any representations about or objections to the Orders may be sent in writing to Rights of Way Legal, Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND or rightsofwaylegal@oxfordshire.gov.uk no later than 14 August 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
